Staff spoke every language except Martian. They have a front desk that never sleeps, so I can ask silly questions at 3 am. They even have a kitchen, if you consider a microwave a kitchen.
I was so disappointed. I booked a hostel with a kitchen, but all I got was a microwave.

Located just a few blocks from the airport bus and metro station, Hostel Center Madrid was conveniently situated for exploring the city. The check-in process was quick and the staff at reception were friendly and cute. The room was clean and the bed and comforter were comfortable. I appreciated the curtain on each bed for added privacy. The big locker provided secure storage for my belongings. The 24-hour reception was a plus and the bathrooms and showers were spacious and well-maintained. Despite its small size, the room was warm and cozy during my winter stay. I had a pleasant experience at Hostel Center Madrid.
The room was quite small for four guests, with limited space to move around, especially with everyone's luggage. The lack of fun facilities and limited seating in the kitchen area also meant there were not many opportunities to socialize or relax with other travelers.

The location is mind-blowing, with easy access to the metro and surrounded by shops and restaurants. The staff, despite limited English skills, were super friendly and helpful. The hostel has great wifi, comfortable pillows, and a colourful interior that encourages interaction and spontaneous cook-togethers. The assigned fridge and kitchen cupboard system is a jaw-droppingly genius idea.

The reception staff spoke four languages, impressive for a 24-hour front desk. The shared kitchen was useful for those of us who actually cook on vacation. I enjoyed organizing tours for myself.
Couldn't hang clothes/towel in the shower? How am I supposed to show off my chic wardrobe while I bathe?

The staff at this hostel were friendly and helpful, always with a smile on their face. the rooms and bathrooms were kept clean and shining, which was a definite plus. the location of the hostel was also great, just a few minutes walking distance from a major shopping street.
The lack of kitchen facilities. This made it difficult with dietary requirements who were hoping to cook their own food.

Mind-blowingly perfect location, super close to downtown yet surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Tons of transportation options nearby including buses, subways, and trains. An unbelievable array of incredible restaurants and bars to choose from. Check-in process was smooth and lightning-fast, with the friendliest and most welcoming staff. The cleanliness of the hostel was jaw-dropping, from the rooms to the bathrooms. The beds were incredibly comfortable, complete with curtains for privacy. The big lockers were a pleasant surprise, and the 24-hour reception provided great peace of mind. The free amenities in the bathroom and the spacious showers with mirrors and hair dryers were fantastic. The room temperature was perfect, especially for winter. The option to rent towels was appreciated, and the fact that they accept last-minute walk-in reservations was a lifesaver. I cannot stress enough how fantastic this place is for a stay in the heart of the city. The staff were exceptionally helpful and kind, working tirelessly 24/7. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom was top-notch, and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. The wifi worked flawlessly. Undoubtedly one of the best hostels in the city center. If I ever find myself in this city again, I know exactly where to rest my head. Muchas gracias for an unforgettable stay!
